Condos are becoming more and popular in Vegas. The urban environment is great for living in a small, yet comfortable loft. Right now there are over 100 condo projects in construction in downtown Vegas, with the same amount – if not more – being built in the surroundings of the Strip. For obvious reasons, condos are the choice of the average joe that wants a comfy, inexpensive and a well-located sanctuary in Vegas.
The newer facilities built come equipped with everything you could ever dream of – from state of the art gyms on the ground (or top) floors, to conference centers, room cleaning services, valets, spas, swimming pools, saunas – you name it, a modern Vegas Condo has got it.
Rental pricing starts as low as $400 for a small studio type bachelor pad and go all the way up to thousands even hundreds of thousands for luxury penthouses with astonishing views and an incredible package of services. Some of these homes could easily host all of your friends and family and yet everybody will feel comfortable. Not to mention the infamous Vegas parties that go on in these types of places. Usually condos come equipped with everything you’d ever need for great relaxation after a long day. Much like the houses and apartments rental situation in Las Vegas, everything comes fully furnished as to not to ruin the style that the landlord intended there to be.
The biggest downside with condos is that if you can’t really afford anything else and have pets – specifically dogs – you are out of luck. Nobody likes risking their places with dogs – especially if it’s a smaller studio condo, where your pet can’t be locked up anywhere. With houses it’s a bit easier, because your dog can walk itself in the yard. But here, you have to walk it all the time, and if your four legged friend gets locked up in a box for too long, it might get bored and start chewing up the owner’s furniture. Other than that, if you don’t have pets and are on a budget – and not willing to spend a whole lot of money on travelling (other than walking) – condos are the way to go. With so many new facilities currently being developed, the competition is great and the pricing is very flexible. Negotiate long term rent and you can easily get a discount. But pet lovers are out of luck (other than hamster or fish lovers perhaps).
