Renting a home in Las Vegas isn’t any easier than in any other big city. Condos are becoming more and more popular as land is incredibly expensive, but there are options. Ever popular is renting vacation homes in Las Vegas. The reasons are obvious – it’s always cheaper to spend your vacation in a house, rather than a hotel. Short-term rentals end up being a bit cheaper than hotels and the choice is vast and varied. It doesn’t matter whether you need a penthouse with an astonishing view on the Strip or a huge villa that can easily hold 20-30 people. Most of these houses have such luxuries as swimming pools, exotic desert views and even tennis courts. You’d be surprised how hard it is to offer something original in terms of in-house entertainment and to simply “wow” somebody. Vegas is the kind of place where you have to do something totally extraordinary to do so.

Doesn’t really matter what you’re looking for – a short time rent for your honeymoon or a lovely home for your family, you can find something that meets your wishes.

Of course, you need to stick to your budget. Most home come fully furnished with everything you need. Not many landlords rent houses without furniture as most houses have their own unique style and/or atmosphere that is accommodated by the furniture – and ruining that style with your own furniture wouldn’t really be a good thing. That said, furnishing doesn’t really affect the price as much as location. Yes, Vegas is also on Earth and rental prices are highly affected by location. If you want a beautiful house on the Strip, it’s going to cost you greatly. You’ll be very lucky to find something under $3k. But the Strip is where you have fun, isn’t it? And living there isn’t really the perfect idea for a relaxing family life. Your best chance would be somewhere around Desert rd, Ann rd or the Lake Mead Blvd. Those parts of Vegas are most popular for actual living and not gambling. Remember, Las Vegas is pretty much in the desert, so don’t count on peaceful suburban life. Now the real problem comes with pets. As many renters know, it’s usually a complete pain to find a landlord that would accept pets – especially dogs. And since there aren’t that many places to walk your dog, they (dogs) usually aren’t allowed by landlords. Mostly it’s because the owners themselves don’t have dogs, mostly cats or other animals. Don’t even bother trying to assure owners that your loveable little poodles would never damage anything – won’t help, anti-canine types see every dog as a menace to their belongings.

Aside from the K9 problem, the choice and overall quality of rental houses in Las Vegas is definitely above average. Although this town never sleeps, it’s more than likely that you can find yourself a peaceful place to rest after a tiring day.
